Mantis with a Fork es un proyecto interdisciplinario concebido por las poco influyentes y marginalmente sexualizadas figuras Lisa Anderson y Borja Aguiló.
Aunque es frecuente no saber en qué están metidos, ni el propósito de sus esfuerzos, los rumores hablan de un álbum temático que cuenta el relato épico de un mallorquín en busca del paso del noroeste… respiren, respiren, respiren. A lo largo de su viaje el protagonista, Fortunio Bonanova, conoce a varios personajes; prostitutas, emigrantes, marineros y, por cierto, a un demonio de las leyendas de las tribus Algonquinas de Norte América, el Wendigo.
Para el deleite de sus oídos y ojos, Mantis with a Fork han subido cuatro de sus temas en Facebook y soundcloud junto con dibujos hechos por los propios músicos.
Finalmente los gastos de palacio para el regente, como introducción, los junkies de especia melange han moldeado un videoclip humorístico hecho de arena golpeada por el rayo y saliva.
Mantis with a Fork is an interdisciplinary project envisioned in 2013 by the non-influential and marginally sexualized figures Lisa Anderson and Borja Aguiló.
Although it is often hard to know what they are up to at any point in time, nor the purpose of their endeavors, rumour has it they are currently knee-deep in the composition of a thematic album which recounts the epic tale of a Mallorquinian man’s quest to find the north-west passage….you can breathe now. Throughout his travels the protagonist, Fortunio Bonanova, meets a wide array of characters; prostitutes, emigrants, sailors, and of course, a demon from the legends of the Algonquin tribes of North America, the Wendigo.
